My name is Brielle (but you can call me Brie, like the cheese ๐ง ). I'm a Minneapolis- and Chicago-based actress, and soon-to-be graduate of the UMN/Guthrie BFA Actor Training program. I have also spent time studying with the Royal Shakespeare Company and American Players Theatre, which have served to diversify my education. With an emphasis on classical technique, I have had extensive training in various acting methods, textual analysis, devising, acrobatics, dance, singing and vocal technique, and plenty more. I'm passionate about the interactions between somatic practices and acting.ย
Alongside my acting education, I am receiving a BA in Psychology from UMN (emphasis in cognition and biological psychology), and completing a 3-year communications internship at Northrop Auditorium, granting me with plenty of experience in arts administration, marketing/communications, community engagement, and development. Additionally, I work on the Guthrie Theater's Student Matinee Educational Staff, assisting in spreading arts accessibility to children in the greater community.ย
Offstage, you can usually find me in one of two places: covered in chalk at the climbing gym, or on the couch with a cozy craft while cuddling my cat, Miso (I'm also great with alliteration!).ย
Let's create some art together!

"re/lease"
A short film
Written and directed by me!
Doubling as a passion project and my college thesis, "re/lease" follows a young woman on the final night before her eviction as she and her best friend drink cheap wine and pack boxes โ but as memory, identity, and home begin to blur, the woman is forced to confront a much deeper reality: which pieces of herself is she allowed to keep in the move, and which must she leave behind?
April 2026:
